Congratilations on 2013 New Year and Christmas holidays to all our guests and residents of Kharkiv!
For us Ukrainians holidays still continue as there is a long time tradtion to celebrate New Year hoidays from the 31st of December till the 14th of January. We have a lot of customs connected with the winter holidays such as decorating Christmas tree, then Orthodox Christmas traditions - cooking Svyata Vecherya ( Holy Supper) and Kutia ( sweet grain pudding), bringing presents by Ded Moroz, singing Kolyadky or Shchedrivky (Caroling). This year on Freedom Square (main square of Kharkiv ) there was installed the highest and the most beautiful Christmas tree around Ukraine. Should be admitted a lot of festival performances take place on Freedom square as well. You are more than welcome to participate and to enjoy holiday atmosphere filled with authentic Ukrainian traditions. We at Kharkov Rent are always glad to help you with accommodation in Kharkiv! We will do our best to help you fall in love with the city, not just stay impressed :-)
